The “Om Dome” Yurt is our 30′ diameter, or 700 square foot yurt, nestled deep in the heart of LUNA’s sprawling old growth forests.  You’ll feel like you’re perched high in a tree house as the yurt is raised well above the forest floor, situated on a steep western facing slope, and flanked by giant White Pine trees.  A large wrap around entrance deck welcomes you, and a back observation porch is available for beautiful views of the forest and creek below.  The yurt rests peacefully in its forest home, looking as if it has been birthed from the forest floor itself.   

Constructed in 2007, the “Om Dome”, like all structures at LUNA,  is powered solely from alternative energy sources; solar panels and a wind turbine, while its heated by a wood stove during the cooler season.
