About Us

We are David and Trish Masters, united together, we’re working to move LUNA towards a new clarified role – A thriving modern Homestead focusing on regenerative ranching, conservation land management, and community education. . 

Founded in 2002 by David, LUNA formed its roots by showcasing sustainable and simple living programs, outdoor education, and conservation land management techniques.  For more than 15 years, David and an energetic crew of guides and educators, worked tirelessly to offer outdoor educational programs to school age students, families, and curious onlookers.  Together they built and installed wetlands, ponds, planted thousands of trees, and slowly started transforming once neglected, overworks farm fields, into a thriving, healthy and vibrant ecosystem.

2014, Enter Trish- Yogi, nature lover, wanna be farmer, city girl. A love story ensues and they are married in July 2019, and together they have been working together building “Home” ever since.

LUNA now hosts two beautiful off the grid yurts – “Camp David” – our 24′ off-grid yurt accommodation, once the home David and Trish.  “The Om Dome” – a 30′ yurt utilized for community events, educational workshops, and wellness retreats.   There is also a beautiful timber framed barn on the homestead that has played host to many events and celebrations over the years.  

Nature now abounds everywhere here at LUNA, there is a spring fed pond, fresh water creek, wetlands, organic hay fields, pastures, food garden, ancient forest, meadows, wildlife corridors and…the farm; which holds our fold of Scottish Highland Cattle, a mixed flock of chickens, and our German Shepherd Koda.  Each of these animals holds a very  important role here at LUNA – a holistic, regenerative farming system – showing that no animal is without purpose.
